As the majority of women I prefer to purchase all the things I need in traditional shops. I like shopping; it brings me a lot of pleasure to wander along endless shelves with products, to listen to calm music, to try on different things and even in long queues there is a bit of romance. So until recently I was against online shopping (but now I know for sure that it was because I didn’t even try to purchase things via the Internet).

But everything changed nearly three weeks ago. I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes for my husband just because I wanted to bring him pleasure, it was a kind of surprise. And a friend of mine advised me to look through online stores, because I didn’t even know what I wanted to buy.

So I wrote in a search engine “buy men shoes” and it found me a lot of sites. I was surprised, because I didn’t expect such a variety of choice.

First of all I visited a shop that offered discounted athletic men shoes (maybe because they proposed a discount). Here I found many nice models, but I didn’t find any that would attract me as soon as I looked at it.

So I decided to look through other online stores, luckily I had a large choice. After that I found a store that offered to purchase men sneakers. In this online store I found a pair of shoes that I liked at once, but unfortunately they didn’t have the size of my husband (they had all sizes except this one), it was a pity.

But soon I found a store that proposed cheap men’s casual footwear. On the first page I saw shoes that I certainly wanted to buy. I liked the colour, style, material, prize and they had a necessary size. So I placed an order without any hesitation.

My husband was very glad to receive such a present, I knew for sure that he would be satisfied with the model and I was right. I like these nice moments when I can bring somebody pleasure.

However, the difference in opinion between men and women on this subject is  different. When you ask a man to define what a casual shoe is, he will probably reply with tennis shoes or sneakers. However, when you ask a woman to define the term “casual shoes” you won’t only receive a definition, you will probably also get subcategories.

In today’s current economy it is important to figure out  what you need and what you are willing to spend to have it, therefore, when it comes to picking out a pair of casual shoes, it is important to know where you will be wearing them.

Most men have only a couple pairs of shoes in their closet and their needs are met. A pair of sneakers, dress shoes, flip flops and work shoes will probably complete the variety in most men’s closets.

However, if you are a woman, there’s no way you are getting by with  one pairs and what you are searching for in a casual shoe is much different than what your guy is.

First, when buying a casual shoe it is important to query what the purpose will be behind it. For instance, will this be a pair of shoes that needs to alternate from day to night, from jeans to dress clothes? Do you need to have a heel on the casual shoes you are looking for and does it have to go with a variety of pant lengths?

Next, consider where you are purchasing the shoe from. Make sure you work with a reputable retailer that allows you to either try the shoe on in the store or if you are making your purchase online, make sure the company you purchase from has a liberal return policy in case the casual shoe doesn’t work out.
