For my fashion class, I have to come up with an outfit from the 90’s, so I was thinking of using platform shoes. Where can I get some?

dr scholls insoles, not the gel type…they are so overpriced..and my feet are still killing me! i noticed that the bottom of my shoe platform is not padded like the aersoles or easy spirit that i normally wear…but these are somewhat dressier for dressier occasions, any suggestions to make my walk a bit less painful? thanks!

I’m looking for any platform shoes or boots that have about an 8″ heel or the highest that are commercially produced and also lace or buckle securely to the leg. I’m used to going through diffiuclties like adjusting two buckles and a velcro band to strap my stilts on over a pair of 20 hole lineman’s boots. Secure to me would mean multiple, functional buckles or lacing up my calf, not a single buckle at the ankle.

The best answer will go to either the person who provides the company/line/brand information that would meet the above specs (8″ heel with platform and some kind of lacing or multiple, functional buckles) OR to the person who provides the best instructions for modifying a pair to meet those specs.

I’ve been looking at a pair of jeans I like on-line that are 33″ but I have noticed this company says one thing but seems to run a tad longer . Their shorts seem a bit longer than 31″ so should I be thinking them or the 33″? Thanks!!!
